Damped Oscillatory Wave Immunity Test System
Leave a Message
DOW61000-18 series Damped Oscillatory Wave Immunity Test System generates controlled damped sinusoidal waveforms through RLC resonant circuit discharge following capacitor pre-charging. This methodology produces amplitude-decreasing oscillatory waveforms that accurately replicate transient interference phenomena encountered in electrical power systems, including switching operations and high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) events.
The DOW61000-18 series test generator delivers precise waveform control with stable, repeatable output characteristics. Through integrated coupling/decoupling networks (CDNs), the system injects damped oscillatory waveforms via conductive coupling into equipment under test (EUT) power ports, with optional configurations available for signal and control port testing. This enables comprehensive evaluation of equipment immunity to conducted transient interference.
DOW61000-18 models comply with international standards IEC/EN 61000-4-18 Clause 4.2 and national standard GB/T 17626.18 Clause 4.1 for slow-damped oscillatory wave testing. This configuration simulates low-frequency transient interference generated by disconnect switch operations and bus reflections, making it suitable for evaluating primary substation equipment and power transformers under low-frequency interference conditions.
DOW61000-18F models meet compliance requirements of IEC/EN 61000-4-18 Clause 4.3 and GB/T 17626.18 Clause 4.2 for fast-damped oscillatory wave testing. This configuration replicates high-frequency transient interference from circuit breaker operations and HEMP events, designed for testing secondary equipment in medium/high voltage substations and combiner cabinets in renewable energy power plants to verify high-frequency immunity performance in electromagnetic pulse environments.
