SG61000-5 Surge Generator
Leave a Message
The SG61000-5 series Surge Generator, also referred to as Lightning Surge Immunity Tester, Combination Wave Generator, Current Surge Generator, Voltage Surge Generator, or Combined Voltage and Current Surge Generator, is an advanced, fully automated electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing device. It is engineered to replicate high-energy transient disturbances caused by natural lightning induction and the switching of substantial inductive and capacitive loads. This equipment is essential for assessing the immunity of power lines and internal wiring of electronic and electrical products (EUT) to such disturbances, ensuring a standardized testing environment for electromagnetic immunity compliance. The SG61000-5 series accommodates diverse voltage/current output specifications (up to 0-30kV and 0-15kA), delivering standard waveform outputs such as 1.2/50μs and 10/700μs (open-circuit voltage), 8/20μs and 5/320μs (short-circuit current). Integrated voltage and current attenuator probes and a Digital Oscilloscope enable direct observation of output waveforms on the LCD touch screen, eliminating the need for external testing devices, thereby streamlining the testing process and ensuring precise waveform parameters adhere to standard requirements. The SG61000-5 series is extensively utilized by manufacturers, research and development centers, and third-party testing organizations across sectors including LED lighting, consumer electronics, new energy, communications, and industrial control. It is a vital tool for equipment to achieve EMC compliance certification.
