The SUG255 Series Impulse Voltage Test Systems deliver high-precision transient voltage generation for insulation performance evaluation of electronic and electrical equipment. These systems generate standardized 1.2/50μs high-voltage impulse waveforms to simulate operational transient overvoltages, including lightning-induced surges and switching transients encountered in power distribution networks. This testing methodology assesses the insulation withstand capability of Equipment Under Test (EUT), identifies potential insulation deficiencies, and mitigates safety risks associated with insulation failure, such as leakage currents, short circuits, or equipment damage.
