MNTC-G2G3 IEC 60598-1:2024 Contact Current Test Network G.2 and G.3 is a standardized measurement instrument engineered for precise contact current evaluation of electrical equipment in compliance with international safety standards. The integrated design incorporates both G.2 and G.3 measurement networks within a single temperature-controlled enclosure, providing a compact and operationally efficient configuration.
This device implements the exact circuit topologies specified in IEC 60598-1:2024 Figure G.2 and Figure G.3, as well as IEC 60990:2016 Clause 5.1.1 Figure 4 and Figure 5. Through precisely calibrated circuit components, it accurately simulates human body impedance models for standardized measurement of both perception/reaction weighted contact current and let-go weighted contact current.
The design ensures compliance with testing protocol requirements and can be integrated with supplementary test components according to specific application requirements. It delivers stable, repeatable measurement conditions for evaluating contact current safety parameters of electrical equipment, facilitating verification of compliance with safety requirements and providing reliable data for product safety performance assessment.
Compliance Standards:
- IEC 60598-1:2024 Luminaires – Part 1: General requirements and tests
- IEC 60990:2016 Methods of measurement of touch current and protective conductor current
- GB 7000.1-2023 Luminaires – Part 1: General requirements and tests
- GB 4943.1-2022 Information technology equipment – Part 1: Safety requirements
Note: This instrument is designed for operation in conjunction with LISUN MNTC-G1 and MNTC-G4 measurement networks.
Typical Applications:
- Factory acceptance testing of contact current safety parameters for lighting fixtures
- Product safety compliance verification testing for information technology equipment manufacturers
- Third-party testing services for contact current evaluation provided by electrical product testing laboratories
