    Description

The LS60745-F103 hammer drill durability testing system is a precision-engineered apparatus designed for comprehensive durability evaluation of handheld motor-operated electric tools. This system comprises an electrical control cabinet and mechanical assembly that facilitates intermittent operation testing protocols as specified in international standards.

The equipment enables simulation of tool operation under varied voltage conditions through adjustable voltage parameters and configurable run/stop cycle programming. The system supports testing in multiple spatial orientations (horizontal, vertical upward, vertical downward) and can apply controlled axial force to ensure stable impact mechanism operation during testing procedures.

This testing system provides critical assessment of potential electrical and mechanical hazards in hammer drills and power tools during normal operational conditions, delivering reliable data for product quality verification and safety compliance.

    Compliance Standards

    • IEC 60745-2-1:2019 – Hand-held motor-operated electric tools – Safety – Part 2-1: Particular requirements for drills and impact drills
    • IEC 60745-2-6:2019 – Hand-held motor-operated electric tools – Safety – Part 2-6: Particular requirements for hammers
    • GB 3883.6-2007 – Safety of hand-held motor-operated electric tools – Part 2: Particular requirements for drills and impact drills
    • GB 3881.7-2012 – Safety of hand-held motor-operated electric tools – Part 2: Particular requirements for hammers

    Application Scope

Conducts durability testing on handheld power tools with power ratings below 2.5kW, including electric drills, impact drills, and electric hammers.

    Testing Specifications

    1. No-Load Operation Testing

All electric hammers and hammer drills are mounted on the test apparatus as specified in Figure 103 of IEC 60745-2-6. The hammer drill mechanism is disengaged during testing. The system operates at 1.1 times rated voltage for 12 hours, followed by 0.9 times rated voltage for 12 hours. Each operational cycle consists of 100 seconds continuous operation followed by 20 seconds power-off rest period. During testing, the electric hammer is positioned in three orientations (horizontal, vertical upward, vertical downward) at each voltage level, with approximately 4 hours of operation in each orientation.

    2. Load Operation Testing

All electric hammers, including hammer drills, are installed on the test apparatus…
