The LS8280 Pink Noise Generator is a computer-controlled dual-channel signal analysis instrument engineered for compliance testing applications. This instrument generates pink noise compliant with IEC 60065 Clauses 4.2 & 4.3 and IEC 62368-1:2023 Annex E (E.2.1), along with sine wave noise specified in IEC 62368-1:2023 Annex E (E.2.2).
In addition to these standard-compliant signals, the generator produces a comprehensive suite of test waveforms including swept-frequency sine waves, swept-amplitude sine waves, sine wave bursts, white noise, narrowband white noise, and narrowband pink noise. These signals are specifically designed for verifying electrical energy source classifications in audio equipment, conducting tests under normal and abnormal operating conditions as defined by international standards, and meeting noise signal supply requirements for household appliances, electronic musical instruments, and professional audio equipment.
