Test Procedures:

1. Prepare the 10A 250V or 16A 250V two-pole socket-outlet to be inspected, ensuring its front surface is clean and free of obstructions.
2. Insert the short pin of the gauge into the live contact tube holes of the socket-outlet smoothly.
3. Check that the short pin does not touch the live contact tubes of the socket-outlet.
4. Remove the short pin and insert the long pin of the gauge into the same live contact tube holes completely.
5. Confirm that the long pin makes firm contact with the live contact tubes of the socket-outlet.
6. Determine compliance: If the short pin fails to touch the live contact tubes and the long pin successfully contacts them, the socket-outlet meets the standard requirements.
