CEI 23-50 Sheet C11 Gauge for S31 Plug Earth Socket Testing
Leave a Message
CEI 23-50 C11 Gauge for Controlling S31 Plug Earth Socket Minimum Expansion and Retention is developed in accordance with CEI 23-50 Normalization Sheet C11. It is specifically engineered to inspect two critical performance indicators of S31 plugs: the minimum expansion of their earth sockets and the retention capacity of those sockets. As a specialized and high-precision testing instrument, it helps ensure that the earth connection structure of S31 plugs meets relevant safety and quality standards, preventing potential electrical safety risks caused by the failure of the earth socket to maintain proper clamping force or meet dimensional requirements. It is an essential tool for manufacturers and testing organizations involved in the production and quality verification of household and similar electrical plugs.
- Specifications
- Complies with CEI 23-50 Normalization Sheet C11 standard requirements
- Features a key dimensional parameter of ø4.6±0.05 mm for the testing part
- Has a specified overall mass of 400 grams, which is critical for the retention performance test
- Is manufactured with strict dimensional tolerances to ensure accurate and consistent test results
- Is dedicated to the detection of the earth socket’s minimum expansion and retention of S31 plugs
- Test Procedures
- Prepare the gauge and the to-be-tested S31 plugs, making sure both are clean, free of deformation or damage that could interfere with test accuracy.
- For the minimum expansion test of the earth socket: Insert the corresponding testing end of the gauge into the earth socket of the S31 plug, ensuring that the insertion process does not require excessive force.
- For the retention performance test: After inserting the gauge into the earth socket, let the gauge hang freely relying on its own 400g weight, and check whether the gauge will fall out of the earth socket under the action of gravity.
- Record the test phenomena and results for each S31 plug, and judge whether the plug’s earth socket meets the necessary standards.
