    Standardized Test Procedure:

    1. Ensure socket-outlet shutters are maintained in the open position prior to test initiation.
    2. Thoroughly clean all gauge surfaces to eliminate grease contamination.
    3. Insert Gauge C2 into the socket-contact assembly by applying a maximum perpendicular force of 50 N to the socket-outlet engagement face.
    4. Position the socket-outlet in its worst-case orientation and verify Gauge C2 does not disengage under gravitational force.
    5. Insert Gauge C1 into the socket-contact assembly following the same procedure.
    6. Reorient the socket-outlet to its worst-case position and confirm Gauge C1 maintains retention under gravitational load.
