Leave a Message
The HCS-109A Adjustable High-Frequency Reference Ballast, also designated as a High-Frequency Current Source, provides an economical alternative to conventional IEC test methodologies. When integrated with the LPCE-2 high-precision spectroradiometer integrating sphere system, this instrument enables comprehensive measurement of photometric, colorimetric, and electrical parameters for high-frequency fluorescent lamps.
Compliance Standards:
IEC 60081:1997/GB/T 10682-2002 “Double-capped fluorescent lamps – Performance specifications”
UL 1993 “Safety for Self-Ballasted Lamps and Lamp Adapters”
Application Scope:
• Per UL 1993 requirements, the HCS-109A facilitates input testing, temperature rise evaluation, leakage current measurement, and harmonic distortion analysis for LED Type A tube direct replacement fluorescent tubes.
• In accordance with GB/T 10682-2002, UL 1993-S, and IEC 60081:1997, this reference ballast supports testing of high-frequency fluorescent lamps (e.g., T5 tubes) and power frequency fluorescent lamps (e.g., T8/T12 tubes). Additional technical guidance is available on the High-Frequency Fluorescent Lamp Measurement resource page.
