Constant Temperature Integrating Sphere

According to IEC standards, the standard test temperature for LED/SSL testing is specified as 25°C. High-power luminaires, such as HID lamps and LED outdoor fixtures, generate significant thermal output during testing, which can cause the internal temperature of a standard integrating sphere to deviate from IEC requirements. The Constant Temperature Integrating Sphere (also referred to as a thermostatic sphere or temperature-controlled integrating sphere) is engineered to maintain a stable internal temperature of 25°C, ensuring compliance with IEC 61000-4-3 and IES LM-82 Clause 4.4. The LISUN IS-*MT series Constant Temperature Integrating Sphere fully adheres to these standards. Specifications: • Diameter: IS-1.5MT (1.5 m), IS-1.75MT (Φ1.75 m), IS-2.0MT (Φ2.0 m). Note: Custom larger diameters can be designed per customer requirements. • The sphere’s internal coating utilizes BaSO4, compliant with CIE Publication No. 84 (1989), with reflectance ρ(λ) ≥ 0.96 (450 nm–800 nm) and ρ(λ) ≥ 0.92 (380 nm–450 nm). • Diffuse reflection performance: Reflectance ρ ≈ 0.8 with an accuracy of ρ(λ) < 1.5%. • Integrated functional lamp testing jigs include E27, T5/T8/T12 tube holders, and bases for LED and other luminaires, allowing sample installation in both upward and downward orientations. • Built-in power cable, power terminal, and optional auxiliary lamp position facilitate convenient power connection for the device under test. • Two photodetector ports, one optical fiber port, and one temperature sensor port are incorporated. • Constant temperature range: 25°C–55°C (reference ambient temperature 25°C), with temperature rise tolerance of ±1°C and temperature drop tolerance of ±2°C. • A built-in cross laser assists in centering standard lamps and devices under test within the sphere (excluded for diameters ≤1 m).
