Due to self-absorption characteristics of lighting fixtures, larger integrating spheres yield more accurate test results. LISUN manufactures large-diameter Ulbricht integrating spheres in standard sizes of 2.5m, 3m, 3.5m, and 4m, with custom diameters available upon request. An infrared anti-pinch safety device automatically halts sphere closure if personnel are detected within the chamber. Specification:
• Sphere coating material complies with CIE Publication No. 84 (1989)
• Barium sulfate (BaSO₄) coating with reflectance ρ(λ) ≥0.96 (450nm-800nm) and ρ(λ) ≥0.92 (380nm-450nm)
• High diffuse reflectance: ρ≈0.8 with spectral accuracy <1.5%
• Integrated functional lamp testing fixtures: E27 sockets, T5/T8/T12 tube holders, and universal bases for LED and other luminaires. All test samples can be mounted in both upward and downward orientations.
• Built-in power cable terminals and auxiliary lamp position (auxiliary lamp optional)
• Integrated power cable and socket for convenient connection to devices under test
• Two photodetector ports, one optical fiber port, and one temperature sensor port
• Integrated cross-laser positioning system for precise centering of reference lamps and devices under test
