Test Procedures:

1. Prepare the test gauge and the 10/16A 250V two-pole socket-outlet with side earthing-contacts, ensuring both are clean, free from debris, damage, or deformation that may affect test validity.
2. Confirm the gauge’s dimensions, surface condition, and hardness comply with CEE7 standard requirements prior to testing.
3. Align the gauge’s pins with the contact openings and side earthing contacts of the socket-outlet as specified in Fig.4 of the standard.
4. Attempt to insert the gauge’s pins fully into the socket-outlet, applying only gentle force.
