IEC 60320-1:2021 Clause 16 Figure 3 and Table 15 Coupler Pull-out Force Test Device
Leave a Message
The Coupler Pull-out Force Test Device is engineered for precise verification of appliance coupler extraction force performance in accordance with international and national standards. This instrument conducts both maximum and minimum extraction force tests: maximum force is determined through suspended weight application, while minimum force is assessed via manual insertion of a single-stage plug. An integrated heating system enables temperature simulation from ambient to 180°C, facilitating accurate performance validation under hot and extreme hot operating conditions as specified in testing protocols.
Standards Compliance:
- IEC 60320-1:2021 Appliance couplers – Part 1: General requirements
- GB/T 17465.1-2022 家用和类似用途器具耦合器 第 1 部分:通用要求
Test Principle: The appliance input socket is secured to the heating device base plate with pins oriented vertically and plug free ends facing downward. Following connector sample insertion into the appliance input socket, corresponding standard weights are suspended from the connector wire termination. During maximum extraction force testing, the connector must not dislodge when primary weights are applied, nor when supplementary weights impact from a 5cm height. For elevated temperature testing, the heating function is activated and testing commences upon reaching specified temperature setpoints.
Technical Specifications:
